Warsteiner Premium Dunkel recipe

This is my favorite beer. Does anyone have a recipe for it or perhaps
can point me to something similar?

for Edelweiss Dunkel Wiessbier as well. Let me know if you want them and

Is the Warsteiner a dunkel or a dunkelweizen? There's big difference!

It says "dunkel" on the bottle, but i don't know the difference.

Warstiener Premium Verum

Extract OG 1.048-1.050 IBU 33 FG 1.010-1.013

6oz 2.5L German Light Crystal malt (20 minute steep @150F)
1/2 lb German Munich malt (20 minute steep @ 150F)
6.6 lb Ireks Minich light malt syrup
2 oz Tettenanger (4.5%) bittering (60 min)
1/3 oz German Hallertau Hersbrucker (flavor 15 min)
Lager yeast


All Grain

8.5 lb German 2-row pilsner malt
6oz 2.5L German light crystal
1/2 lb German munich malt


1.44 oz Tettenanger ( to get 6.5 HBU) bittering
1/3 oz German Hallertau Hersbrucker flavor

OG 1.051-1.053 IBU 12 FG 1.010-1.012


6oz 65l German Dark Crystal (20 minute steep @150F)
4oz Belgian Cara-Vienna (20 minute steep @150F)
2oz Gambrinus honey malt (20 minute steep @150F)


5.75 lb M&F wheat DME (55/45)
1oz German Hallertau Hersbrucker (3.5%) bittering

Wheat yeast

5lb Belgian 2-row pale malt
4.25 lb German wheat malt
6oz 65l German Dark Crystal
4oz Belgian Cara-Vienna
2oz Gambrinus honey malt

3/4oz (approx) German Hallertau Hersbrucker (3.5%) ( to obtain 2.5 HBU)
