I spent yesterday at a medical conference. The bad news is, they still
haven't found the cause/cure. The good news is, they've ruled out a lot
more things, so that, in and of itself, is bringing us closer to homing
in on the correct one.

One of the doctors has been experimenting with existing drugs -- we know
they alleviate this symptom in some other condition, so let's see if
they do anything for our patients. I was in the patient conference, so
she merely said they'd had some successes; I assume that in the
professional conference at the other end of the hall she was more
specific about what drugs and what results.

I'm not in south Africa any more. Moved to the UK almost 4 years ago!
And I'm in Wales with my Mom and husband, spinning a batch of black Blue
Faced Leicester wool I bought a while ago.

The drama all over our televisions is the finding of the flight that
disappeared. And British politics, but that goes without saying.

So, Karen, when you get down to the first (last?) day of Christmas, are
you going to change "overdyed" to "rayon" or "sparkly" threads???? lol
