Sundance Glass and the So. Bay Area Glass Beadmakers Society is pleased to
present an Art Glass Fair on April 19 and 20. Our Dec. 14/15 Fair was so
successful that we are coordinating this art fair at the same time as the
Open Studio Tour of Santa Clara County. The Open Studio tour program
features artists working at their studios and is advertised heavily
throughout Santa Clara Valley (also known as Silicon Valley!). We expect
a great turnout. Sundance glass will be having a spring glass sale -
including a huge shipment of scrap glass that has been laser-cut into
unusual curves and interesting shapes - perfect for slumping and other
special effect pieces.
The So. Bay Area Glass Beadmakers will have members selling loose lampwork
beads as well as jewelry. Many other artists who travel the art fair
circuit will also be there selling glass-related products - beads,
jewelry, stained glass, mosaics, sandblasting, fused glass, and more!
There will also be demonstrations all day, both days, of glass beadmaking,
cutting mosaic pieces, glassblowing, and more!
Sundance Glass is located at 231 So. Whisman Rd. at Evelyn (just off of
Hwy 237 or Hwy 85) in Mt. View, CA. Vendor spaces are available, from 10
x 10 booth spaces, to single tables with chairs. The fair will be held
outdoors, with plenty of parking for the many expected visitors/buyers!
The event will be advertised in all the major publications of the valley,
as well as part of a direct mailing to glass customers. Come one, come
all. If you are interested in vending - call Brian at (415) 965-4919 for
more information. I believe the rates are $45 and less!!!!! What a deal!
(One beginning beadmaker sold all of her beginning beads for $1 and $2 -
and made over $700! Another professional couple planned on selling only 1
day last Dec, but stayed the second day because sales were so fantastic!)
