TODAYBBS files

The current series of data files for TODAYBBS/TODAYDOR "This Day in History"
Wildcat! programs is now complete and available for download.

Author Bruce Goldman, who maintains the data files, has spent countless
hundreds of hours updating them, and he sent me the last two updates to the
current series just today.

I've sent them to Mustang's HQ BBS, and they should be posted there within a
day or two, so you can ftp or telnet there (ftp.mustang.com / bbs.mustang.com)
or you can call the Charlatan's Cabin BBS (213) 654-7337 to download them
from there.

The files are:

DAY910-1.ZIP Jan/Feb
DAY910-2.ZIP Mar/Apr
DAY910-3.ZIP May/Jun
DAY910-4.ZIP Jul/Aug
DAY910-5.ZIP Sep/Oct
DAY910A6.ZIP Nov/Dec

Note that file 6 has an "A" in the filename because it was revised after
release.

TODAYBBS.ZIP and TODAYDOR.ZIP are also both available if you don't already
have them.

TODAYBBS generates a bulletin listing any combination of these categories:
User birthdays, celebrity birthdays, deaths, reminders, special events, local
events, religious holidays, and more ...

TODAYDOR is a Wildcat-4 compatible door which allows the user to search
the database and see the same info for whatever date he/she chooses.

Both programs are "char-ware" ... I don't charge a registration fee, but I
encourage SysOps to make a donation to their own favorite charity if they find
the programs (or any of the Cabin SysOp Utilities) to be useful.
