You entered that address in that section?

While you're in there

Choose to overwrite if this is your only network otherwise you may want to
write to a separate file and then merge. You should end up with
/sbbs/data/areas.bbs (or AREAS.BBS possibly). Enter your uplink when
prompted, 1:15/0

There are several passwords. What is known as the "session password" is what
is used to authenticate with binkd/binkit or whatever. Areafix passwords are
provided when you want to add/remote areas and various other things.
Try sending a netmail to areafix@1:15/0 with your areafix password as the subject
(should be no more than 8 characters). In the body of the message put
%LINKED
%UNLINKED
%HELP
Then send the mesage. This will show you which echoes you are subscribed to,
or not, and some help. You wont get anything if you don't subscribe.

That should work. I did a telnet test and it shows it will answer for 1:15.0
Escape character is '^]'.

For echocfg > Linked Nodes for Fidonet I just have
1:ALL
Domain should actually be fidonet.I don't have one just for my hub. You can
set "route to" to be your hub so anything destined for zone 1 will go via
the hub.

Right. So try sending a netmail and see if it at least gets that far. I sent
you one, you can try sending to sysop@1:124/5016
