You *should* be able to register them from Gameport, who currently owns them:
http://www.gameport.com/bbs/
However, other sysops recently have been saying they have been having trouble
with them being slow at giving registration codes or not giving codes at all..

it's ok, I am out going only for now.
my phone company updated me to a ADSL and a zyxel 660 modem, router and I cant
figure out how to allow in traffic. I tryed everything I could think off.
phone company said set it to bridge mode. then I dont get in or out traffic.
then I will just use robs dns service or ip-no or something.

I'm not a big fan of the LEC providing routing -- AT&T did that for my last few
DSL installs and they always set them up without NAT. At least nowadays the
tech gives you the username/password - they used to claim that they needed to
manage the endpoint to be able to support the line!

yes, i see when i login to your ip on the web i get into your router login.
perhaps you have defective hardware, that's a possiblity.

with my company i can just return my hardware for a replacement for free, you
should check into that.

prolly. embarq is crap. it is set to only let telnet to router from the lan,
not wan. and if I disable the lan telnet maint. nothing works.
soon I will just go to frys and get my own damn adsl modem.

You can find cheap Netopia/Motorola branded 3346 DSL routers/modems on
Craigslist. Nice little modems. You can buy add-ons to have it work as a VPN
server, stateful packet filter, etc.

We're thinking of buying a router/modem at the thrift store for a spare. $8.00
for an identical modem to DSL modem... 4-port wireless (brand name is like a
2wire or something like that...)

You would say that, wouldn't you? You filthy crack addict. I'm surprised that
you're able to put the pipe down for long enough to commit your pollution to
the CVS. In spite of your addiction, you're a real go-getter.
