Main.cnf file missing error message

Anyone know why I might be getting this error? It's a fresh install, and I was
able to access the ./scfg areas fine, but then out of the clear blue, I got
this error, and now I can't configure anything. Linux, NOT WINDOWS.

What Gives?

The SBBSCTRL variable is set either to /sbbs/exec or not set at all.

It needs to be set to the ctrl directory, not the exec one.
