I read about the past difficulties of open sourcing Mystic. Synchronet seems to be working well with open source development. Is open sourcing Mystic still being considered? If you don't want GitHub training co-pilot on public repos, a workaround for that is perhaps posting the project on something like
https://codeberg.org.
Advantages of open sourcing the codebase:
- People wanting to learn the technology might become future contributors.
- Work will continue to exist even if developer is hit by the uncertainty of existence.
- Builds trust.
Thanks,
Alex
