I have been forced to close an otherwise open system due to the
transactions from the Tribbs.com Company onto I70West. I know many of
you have also had to do this but this is the first time I have seen it
has beening instagated by a BBS Software Company.

Joe Stollings and Frank Prue have already been told not to enter. Frank
Prue has been attempting to use Aliases and been quite abusive in the
process. I have seen one other from their camp attempting to enter the
system.

If you wish to do business with Tribbs, it's no hair off my nose. But
this behavior is deporable from any of us much less from a BBS Shareware
Company.

Frank Prue is correct, it will excalate. Now that I have already told
him that he was not to enter I70west in any way. He returns with an
Email to I70West with this dribble. I lost the ability to be
"Civilized" as he wishes long ago. Now, it's handled just reporting
the news, nothing more. It chaps his drawers that He can't Censor the
truth. The next step is to turn the logs over to the authorities as
pursuant to the 1998 Telecom Act. As we all know, a BBS is NOT a
publicily owned and controlled Area even if it was on the Internet. I
have been informed by both Joe and Frank that I could do nothing to
prevent them from using the BBS. Now, that is Arrogance. And perfectly
incorrect.

Here is an email AFTER the intrusions from Frank Prue. He was much
worse on the BBS. These things are designed to play down that
Tribbs.com being shown as a BAD Business as long as it's controlled by
these folks. Ask yourself if this is how a Businessman attempts to
correct for their own mistakes.

Daryl you are a major jerk!!! You publically insult me and then expect
me to

it
will just escalate!!

Congrats to the TriBBS guys then. I never was really interested in their
software before, but if they hate Daryl Hunt, then they're definitely
intelligent people.

The sheer irony is that 4 months ago, Daryl kept insisting that Synchronet was
crap and that TriBBS was going to be the BBS of the future to replace it...

Since you opened this box, let's go with it. They are terrorists in the Internet
Sense. That makes you one also. Since you support people attempting to trash BBS
systems, regardless of who it belongs to, I see that you are not a Sysop, Never
Were a Sysop and Never will be. Rings even truer today than yesterday. Hell,
Kid, you ain't even a decent user.

Tribbs turned out to be air. Syncro isn't bad but there are those that support it
that are. Join their ranks and attempt to destroy another BBS. I fugure you have
at least 6 to your credit already. Sorry to disappoint you but I have users
already and there are provisions made to allow good people in that wish to join.
You and yours aren't welcome either. Failures that require to attempt to degrade
others should enjoy feeling superior but without any support from the rest of us.

Supporting Terrorism regardless if it's on or off the Internet because you can,
There were many that just died because a small group could. It will no longer be
tolerated by anyone from September 11th on. You are not even close to worth of
living in the US or anywhere else. I suggest you denounce your Citizenship and
enlist in the Talaban.

Due to extremely poor business practices, Tribbs is dead. It killed itself since
We, as Sysops cannot tolerate this type of action especially from a BBS Company.
I have seen it done in the past and each time, the ones that they do it to survive
but the BBS companies don't. Since you nurture such tactics, I wonder how many
will dump your software. It would be the American thing to do.

sigh... Daryl, maybe some day you'll realize that the only consistent factor in
all of these verbal exchanges is *you*. But I doubt it.

In the past 3 or 4 years that you've been on alt.bbs.*, you've now managed to
harass at least 4 doorgame authors, multiple BBS software developers, several
sysops, and an entire BBS promotion group.

As for why I just jumped on you, it's because I'm tired of you crossposting
your tirades and harassment to totally unapplicable newgroups.

How, pray tell, is TriBBS in any way *even* *remotely* *related* to the events
of sept 11 in *ANY* way shape or form?

For the record, I don't nuture "such tactics". The fact of the matter is, I
see absolutely no evidence that the TriBBS guys did anything wrong to you. YOU
repeatedly and publicly harassed THEM, just like you've harassed myself and
countless other software authors who are trying to save the BBS scene.

And of course, you. You forget you keep resurfacing over and over again. Not
helping the BBS community, only attempting to assinate me. Good luck on that one.
I am still here.

> In the past 3 or 4 years that you've been on alt.bbs.*, you've now managed to
> harass at least 4 doorgame authors, multiple BBS software developers, several

Let's drag out the old information on that one.

1. 4 doorgame authors.......... In your mind. For your information, there
is a very good possibility that I will be on the Beta team for the Newest
Tradewars. I am listed on EISOnline as one of the sites to go to for the TWGS
Servers, get lots of Business from that for the BBS, Shall I go on? While the rest
of us have gone on, you still whine in the past.

2. Multiple BBS Software Authors: If you count Santronics, I still recieve
updates on the new products. Just because Carlos and I can't get along, there is
no reason for us to be Heathens about it. If you are talking about PTC (tribbs)
Software, you got that right. All I do is report the news. What's the matter,
can't stand a good Report on the BBS World? It's not all a bowl of Cherries. I
don't want to see another person invest in air.

3. Several Sysop: Yes I do take it to them, don't I. Actually, you are
the only one left fighting this war. The rest of us picked up our toys and went
home. We even are civil these day. Okay, we won't ever invite each other to go
skinny dippin in the pond but we are civil.

4. Which one? You mean two don't you. As one of the previous Chairmans of
COCA, I got to see these folks in action. Power, and More Power no matter who it
hurts. As a previous member of ICON, I saw the same things. Both are gone and
good riddance to them. They did more harm than you ever did and shut down more
BBSes than you ever will. Sorry, to inform you that as a BBS Closer, you are a
piker.

> As for why I just jumped on you, it's because I'm tired of you crossposting
> your tirades and harassment to totally unapplicable newgroups.

You jumped me because you thought I was an easy target. Your very small bunch are
getting completely out of the BBS Business while mine is growing. The Users are
speaking Volumes. And I still don't have your program on my system and never
will. If anyone feels the need for a good MUD, I have a place I send them. It's a
decent WG system.

You have been guilty of this for a few years. You don't care who you harm to get
your petty little way. Due to the tolerance of the many, the few thought they
could do it without severe reprisals. It's exactly what you have done for years
and exactly what PTC Software (Tribbs.com) has done recently. Do it because you
can. Not anymore. Those days have ended. Directly going after ANY BBS System
like you have done in the past with others and what PTC Software attempted to pull
this time would get the same reaction from me. Even if it were yours. You can't
say the same thing.

> > Since you nurture such tactics, I wonder how many

You have some strange information that is incorrect. They cheated me out of a
recently spent Reg Fee by misrepresenting the Product and the direction it was
going. I shelled out more than their crummy reg to make it work. It slowed my
system down to a crawl when I put up the nodes required. I commented on it and a
Pain in the Asse Wildcatter went to work. The WCer has never even tried that
particular setup and neither has the Owner of PTC (tribbs) Software. Now, how
could they be experts when they never have tried it.

As for harrasing you, you deserve it. You have a list of BBSes that quit over
seeing you and yours in action. But, in the end, all of you are taking your
systems down. No users or some of the worst users in the history of BBSing since
you seem to think that sad behavior is the norm. Your buddies have taken a beating
from either lack of users or Abusive users.

As to proving it to you, I don't have to do a thing. Anyone "Allowed" in my system
can look a the Logs anytime they wish and see the number of times that Frank Prue
attempted to logon. What they can't see is where he attempted to logon as a new
user after that even though he knew he wasn't welcome here. As a "Competent"
Sysop, I stopped him cold. Something that you will never be able to do. After
awhile, I turned on the Chat. He became abusive on my system and I reacted exactly
like I would if I saw it on another persons system. I explained to him that he was
in violation of the 1998 Telecom Act Title V. He stated that it was his right to
enter the BBS and it was a public system. Wrong answer. No BBS is a Public
System. You are a guest.

BTW, a few of us helped to bring another BBS backonline in the last couple of
days. It was easy since the Sysop comes from the old days. It wasn't much of a
stretch since he knew most of what he needed to do. He has forgot more about
BBSing than you will ever know and he's still pretty sharp. Our bunch Builds
BBSes, Internet Servers, ISPs, etc.. In 10 years, we will still be remembered as
builders. No one will even remember your name.

Oh, I forgot to mention. In the last 45 days, My BBS has had over 800 logins to
use it alone. What many don't see is the other parts of the BBS that run on
different Com Ports. It's a gas to see multiple user playing different games.
Total users that can use my BBS System at one time is 9 and every once inwhile, it
almost fills up. But they do enjoy it. On my Gaming Area, including all parts
of the System, there has been over 2500 times people have enjoyed it. I had to
move part of it to the Main Server with the Fat Bandwidth. Actually, being also a
WCWins Sysop, I noticed how the successful WCWins systems were doing it, improved
on it and it worked even better. Or was it the Searchlight Folks. Actually, it was
probably a mixture. Learn from the Winners and not the Losers. All you are able
to learn from a Loser is how to lose. Don't expect to teach me anything.

"resurfacing"? I've been reading alt.bbs and alt.bbs.doors on a daily basis
for over 4 years, without interruption.

You think the only reason I'm on alt.bbs.* is to "assinate" [sic] you? Get
real.

I'll state again, the only reason I just jumped on you is I'm tired of you
repeatedly harassing BBS software developers and then crossposting your rants
and tirades to completely unrelated newsgroups.

Yes, but to hawk your Door usually. No harm in that and I leave you alone even
though some in your own circles voiced against others doing exactly the same
thing. But, those others are not part of your little loud mouthed, prejudicial
little group either. I guess it's only right for you. But I tolerated it until
now. Now, we fire up the old keyboard again. Time to get back on your asse since
you seem to want to be on mine. What's the matter, can't find a Woman?

You arne't there because they stopped listening to you and actually started
discussing things again. Your sic little game didn't work then, it won't work
now. Embarrassing when the one that you attempted to get rid of could still carry
on a discussion with others while taking you apart at the seams. Shall we do it
again? Your choice. But you know I am game.

Like always, it's a deep hatred that you have for me. You already stated it.
Your litltle bunch has been attempting to win something. I am not quite sure what
but it's been directed at me. Before, it was others. I imagine it's similiar to
an obscession to win at all costs no matter how long it will take, no matter the
cost. Well, the cost is pretty high. You see, I just don't care and that makes
me quite dangerous to people like you that Have to win by stepping over the
bodies.

There are those that remember. It's been so long, I have forgotten the names but I
remember the events.

My, what arrogance. You should have done that instead of typing the dribble that
you did. Hatred is a nasty thing to harbor.

Okay, it's different and the Netties feel more at home in most of it but
they are starting to notice some of the Ansi Servers. I had to move some of
the BBS System onto the main server due to bandwidth problems. These are
not hit and runs, these are hit and stays.

I can't see doing files or messages since the Internet does it already. I
really can't see importing a BBS Message base that takes thousands of BBSes
to get what a decent did at one time by itself. The BBS Netmail has been
healthier. As for files, they are a dime a dozen all over the place. But
a good mixture of over 100 Java, Shock, Flash, DHTML, Perl, ASP, BBS ansi

am not aware of it and neither are the Search Engines. I think I said once

no, the tag team never existed, it's just your excuse whenever no one
agrees with you.

There is a side to take, if I believe you, or the person you're
accusing. You had been acting civil enough for long enough that when
you first made them, I was inclined to believe you, but at the first
sign of disagreement, you proceeded to return to ranting, and finger
pointing. That was enough to convince me that there was likely more
to the story then you were conveying.

Character assasination associates much closer to 'terrorism' then
breach of contract.

What I've read, it looks like a company you did business with pulled
continued support based upon an attack by you on their company. At
that point you could have simply filed suit to attemt to regain your
lost funds, or continued support. instead you proceeded in a campaign
of character assasination that escalated until you began involving
others. When others called you on your past flames, you could have
simply ignored it, but instead you aimed your assasination at them,
and spread it to people who were considering supporting you <I'm sure
I'm not the only one> You blame everyone for being your enemy, but
your biggest enemy is your own hot air.

Either way, I have better things to do then play tag with you, this
will be my last post on this subject, untill you can take it to

Found another present Frank Prue left. Now, it will end when they sell
Tribbs to someone else and trade their computers in on a Knitting
machine.

Sorry, but this behavior is not to be allowed by anyone expecially a BBS
Software Author.

I also purchased tribbs.net and will be using it to report the news.
Since they can't seem to keep thier BBS page up at Tribbs.com, I will
give them a little help at tribbs.net. It goes online in about 3 days,
maybe Friday or so. Frank not only attempted to gain access to the BBS
but he did gain access to the TWGS Server and left a little present.
PTC Software is going down.

Hello, All!

In regards to Mr. Hunt: I was warned about him in 1996 when I was on
IRC. I didn't really believe the people that told me until I
started carrying alt.bbs - now I know why he's not welcomed in a lot
of places. However, luckily for me, I can easily get rid of his
garbage. Since I gate my newsgroups into my BBS via a NNTP<->FTN
gate, I use a little program called "TwitKill" that scans my message
bases for the wonderful people like Daryl.

I still don't see why any of you are even bothering with him. It's
obvious he has nothing to show for himself but pissing everyone off.
It's rather funny, actually. It's sad that a grown man can act
like he does. Daryl don't contribute anything worthwhile to the BBS
world, so why are you all bothering with him? Maybe he's just
jealous because the only thing he can do right is verbal
masturbation.

Later,
Hausmaus

Just think Daryl, These people hate you and i do not even know you and i
hate you already
so please do not bother any of us...

For you are the weakest link

Goodbye!
