It's a runtime module for BASIC (I think it's for BASIC anyway). If
they are requiring this, they probably aren't very good.

Its VBRUN300.DLL and you can get it from ftp.uniserve.com in the windows
directory or just about any online service.
No, it's a DOOR game, it runs in dos, it needs Brun30.exe i've seen
Brun45.exe but not 30

Umm, BRUN 3.0 and VBRUN 3.0 are NOT the same thing. VBRUN is needed
by Windows to run Visual Basic programs, BRUN is needed by DOS to run
Basic programs (Compiled BASIC programs that is)
Yep. Apparently, when the author compiled it he decided to compile it in
this fashion to save space. If memory serves, some early versions of
QuickBASIC had the occasional bug in BCOM but not BRUN; that might be
another reason he chose to compile it in this way.
Anyway, I just happen to have BRUN30.EXE. Drop me some e-mail and we'll
see about getting you up and running.

Close..;)
BRUN30 is a runtime library (Basic RUNtime 3,0) that contains certain common
commands and such. As far as I know, a programmer can reduce code size by
makign calls to BRUN30 (Or BRUN45 for QuickBasic 4.5)
It's been a good 3 or 4 years since I've seen something that requires BRUN*.*
files though. It must be a pretty old door if it requires it!
Later
Actually, there is a Brun30, Brun40, and Brun45. I have all 3 sitting
in my DOS directory on my home system, so I never have to worry about
whether I need them or not. If they are, they are found, if not, I waste
a whole 60 kilobytes of disk space or so (big loss there eh?).
Check around...you should be able to find an archive with all 3
versions in it.
