It’s mighty cold in Florida right now, and to be honest, we just
aren’t used to it around here. On the bright side, it is sure to be
warmer in March for the Suwannee Banjo Camp.

The 7th Annual Suwannee Banjo Camp will take place at beautiful O’Leno
State Park, in High Springs, Florida, from March 18-20th, 2011.
Register by December 15th and qualify for our early bird special.
Check www.suwanneebanjocamp.com for full bios, questions,
registration, etc

The big news for 2011 is that we are adding an optional additional
day. On Thursday night thru Friday morning, March 17-18, come hang
out with the faculty, for demonstrations, jams, and come what may.
Our regular program will begin on Friday at noon with registration,
and run until Sunday at 1:30 pm

Staff change: Regrettably, Reed Martin has had to bow out this year
because of personal concerns. We hope to have him back soon. The
good news is that we have added fiddle and banjo great Rafe Stefanini
in his place! We are excited to welcome Rafe, a musician we admire.
We think you are going to like him too.

On the Bluegrass side of the coin, Alan Munde is joining us for the
first time. We are delighted to welcome back Tony Trischka, Janet
Davis, Scott Anderson, and James McKinney.

Our Old-Time track features Cathy Barton Para, Mac Benford, Paul
Brown, Adam Hurt, Chuck Levy, Ken Perlman, and Rafe Stefanini.

Greg Adams will be leading a Minstrel Banjo/Ekonting track.

Attention fiddlers! We are offering a full old-time fiddle track led
Alan Jabbour, with help from Rafe Stefanini, Paul Brown, Adam Hurt,
and Chuck Levy.

Keep Warm,

Yours,
Chuck Levy
Co-Director
