I've just killed an ankheg in Windspear Hills. Is there anywhere I can take
the shell to to have Ankheg armour made?

Cheers in advance

Cromwell. Docks District. I would say it's not worth it, not in BG2,
but it's up to you.

Bah, it's worth it for the cool green colour. I hope they have Ankheg armour
in NWN.

I experienced the "problem" that when I killed the Ankheg my Party-members who
were able to wear a plate mail (my Paladin, Minsc and Keldon) all had armour
better than an Ankheg armour can get, so I decided to not spend the 5000 GP. I
don't know if carrying weight has any influence as long as it is kept below the
yellow encumbrance level, but if weight is a problem you still can store your
unused heavy weapons or armours you don't need for the next tour at your
stronghold. Besides of that, you have to carry a lot of weight before Minsc gets
encumbred. But you should keep Cromwell in mind for some other smith's tasks...
