Whas up with this scenario in the Gate. I have no clue as to what i'm
supposed to do.If you don't know what im yappin about, go to the big city,
and enter the building above the "Helm & Cloak".

this is the sub-quest involving the druid and bogeyman, correct? if i
remember, you bug the mage (?) who is supposed to be their guardian and
he'll turn red to attack. i believe you have to do this at night to
activate his reaction.

I just decided he was the bad guy (I trusted the girls' take on the
situation) and attacked him. No rep loss. When I talked to voltine and the
girls the quest was completed.
