I know the octan number doesn't mean anything about the quality of the gas.
It is the additive in the gas that determines its quality (correct me if it's
not true). The thing is low quality usually stays behind low price. Although
the super low price of Costco gas lures me so much, for the long term
maintenance concern, I don't want to risk my new '96 Nissan Maxima SE with
the #92 Costco gas before I know its quality at this moment.
Anyone has the clear idea about the quality of Costco gas? Are all the Costco
gas in the States same? Also, is there any place ranking gas quality of those
popular brands?
