renault scenic

my automatic renault scenic sometimes wont start if I have been
running it in slow traffic or been on a long journey and the car has
heated up. It wont start ifthe engine is hot and :roll: I stop and
run into a shop for a minute, I have to wait 10 -20 mins for it to
cool b4 it starts again, any ideas what it is

hi there

i was wondering if you ever got to the bottom of the probelm with your
renault as I have exactly the same problem with my manual fidji scenic
where sometimes the engine wont start but if you leave it for about 15
minutes it then starts first time. Normally similiar sypmtoms to your as
its after a long drive or its been sat idling in traffic.
