does anybody have the volvo font that they use in their commercials and
brochures, website etc.

or do you know what the font is?

Hi:

I've been thinking about the same question a long time ago. The best
way will be going to CURRENT Volvo S80 website. They have many .gif
pictures that has those Volvo font. They include letters and numbers.

Try to find the ones with white background. If you wanna Mercedes font,
they use the UGLIEST times new roman font, it's available everywhere.

This is a proprietary font, meaning it was designed for and is owned by
Volvo. This is not an available font, and using it is a copyright
infringement.

This is a proprietary font, meaning it was designed for and is owned by

Volvo. It is simply not available to the general public. Any use of the
font is a copyright infringement.

BTW, there's also the font that Volvo uses on _everything_ in the interior
of their current cars (save, naturally, for the Volvo logo).
Extraordinarily impressive coherency of design...

Well, the exact PostScript (presumably) code can be copyrighted, but under
US copyright law (don't know about Europe, et al), a font _design_ cannot
be copyrighted. This means that if someone was so inclined as to knock off
the Volvo font, at least in the US there's nothing Volvo could do about
it.
