1986 22R Auto downshift problem. Help!

I had the head rebuilt on my 1986 pickup with a 22R and Auto. Now that I
have it back shifting into second is about 10km/h later than before.
Shifting into 3rd is after 85km/h (50mph)! Before it shifted into 3rd at
about 60km/hr (35mph). Did the mechanic do something or is this just a fluke
that it happened now? What would be the problem?

He need to adjust the throttle pressure cable properly, he has it set
too tight.
