... and removed the app from my phone. I'd delete my account if I could
figure out how to do that, but I can make private all settings where that's
a choice, then log out and never log in again.

Good bye cruel world...

I object to the guy that's cancelling his citizenship in the face of the
taxes due for his interest in Facebook stock.

RENOUNCED his citizenship. I had a brain-fart and could not think of the
right word earlier.

Some are loyal to a football team, some to a city or state. Some to a
country. Some go where the jobs are, some move to avoid taxes or for a
better quality of life. Maybe the dude wants to be able to go get a
loaf of bread without having to worry about getting carjacked.
Whatever,
Facebook's IPO opens at 38 tomorrow, we'll see what it does.

We're (I'm) talking about Severin, he can buy a loaf of bread for $1000 if
he wants. He came to the USA for school, made hundreds of millions, and now
wants to renouce his citizenship for no other reason than to assert
residency in a country that has lower income taxes. .

I'm unfriending from Facebook, and not looking back...

FB seems at best to be a monumental waste of time and at worst a great
way to lose your identity, share a lot of things you don't want to,
get in trouble, etc.

Congrats for exiting, good move.

Being a secret agent man, I've never had a facebook page.
Never have twitted, or any of those other type deals either..
But even if I were not a secret agent man, I'm way too damn
ugly to be having a facebook page. :(
Only hawt semi nekked wimmerns have any business having a
facebook page as far as I'm concerned.

Smart move. You're not missing anything of significance. Where else
could preteen girls hang with fbi, cia, dea, local dealers and the perv
next door? Usually right under clueless parents noses. Zuckerberg's
business model is to collect biographical information, frequently from
very young children and sell it to the highest bidder. He doesn't give a
crap about anyone's privacy and has said as much. Just a giant cesspool.
Oh, forget about actually deleting your account. Mark owns whatever you
posted there and that's that.

I haven't posted anything that I care about. But I still want to delete my

I go there maybe once a month, maybe once in 2 months...maybe once in six
months.

My Facebook post for today:

Seriously? People are thinking of suing Morgan Stanley? Two Congressional
panels are looking into the IPO of Facebook? Why? Because Morgan Stanley
only told their best investors the Facebook was not a growth stock? Wow.
No rocket science involved there, folks! A company that produces NOTHING,
who's only product is basically Vaporware and could theoretically could go
out with one good lightning strike, and someone had to TELL you it wasn't
a good growth stock? They make their money from selling tokens in games
and ads for horny "women in your area". Anybody who bought this stock for
anything but a novelty got what they deserved. In the meantime, Zuckerberg
et al become billionaires and join the 1% at the expense of the 99%.
That's what REALLY pisses you all off, isn't it. Well, the joke's on you;
the bill is too. P.T. Barnum said "there's one born every minute", here's
your proof. Oh, there is one way they could make money...by selling all
your profiles. Hope you signed up with bogus information!
