I just got my T100 back from a 60K service. For the fourth time in less
than 3 years I asked the dealership to straighten the steering wheel which
is off by about 5-7 degrees to the right when the truck is on a flat (yes,
perfectly flat) roadway. The steering does NOT pull--it tracks straight and
true--just that the steering wheel is canted to one side as if I'm making a
slight right turn all the time.

This is a) annoying to look at and more importantly b) annoying to drive,
even fatiguing on long trips.

Dealership INSISTS that the wheel is straight when I get the truck back, and
once accused me of "full stopping" the wheel vigorously. Indeed the wheel
does seem to be straight when I get the truck back, but it's really hard to
tell because there are only crowned roads near the dealership. By the time
I get home I can already detect the cant again.

I've had this problem in other vehicles, and have noticed that cars my
friends drive also frequently have canted wheels. I'm not experiencing
unusual tire wear patterns, though I typically only get about 35,000 miles
from a set of tires (have been told this is normal for T100). The alignment
report shows relatively minor changes to alignment (similar to other cars
I've had).

Any ideas? Any help would be GRATEFULLY appreciated!

It can be fixed. My 4-Runner was slightly off also. I took it to a
alignment shop for a alignment and they also centered the steering
wheel also.
