the backspace measurement is 5-11/16
and the size of the wheel is 17x8, and would 245 tires rubbing the fender or
struts?
anyone knows?

Rim Offset, and Obstruction possibilities are the
biggest limitations.
If the tire is too wide could be problems, and all
of the wheel must clear the brake
mechanisms.............of all 4 wheels unless you
are looking ot build a car with skinny fronts and
fat rear tires/wheels.
I have no reason to believe the Mustang rims will
work. I have measured them for a dunebuggy
application, and I have mulled the Camry
application over mildly and don't see any way to
use them without some kind of adapter/spacer
combination, which in turn will change the
stresses on the rear wheel bearings incredibly,
and not in a good way. Not to mention the
probability that they will cause fender rubbing
all the way around the car.
