What I found is:
3% of purchases are converted to $100 vouchers as earned, up to $500
per year.
Vouchers good for parts, service, and vehicle purchase.
What I can't find is:
Is that per *calendar* year? That is, if I got a new card in late
2002, I could potentially still get the full $500 for 2002, and work
on a fresh $500 starting Jan. 1, 2003?
How long is each voucher good for? (For instance, if 3 years, I could
get max. 3 * $500 = $1500 off a new vehicle, if 7 years, then 7 * $500
= $3500.)
What about transferability? Could one's vouchers be used to purchase
a vehicle registered to one's spouse, significant other, parent,
child, cousin, friend?
Could a husband and wife have separate card accounts (effectively
doubling the yearly limit), and combine the vouchers for a vehicle
purchase?

and http://creditcardsatchase.com/portal/index.jsp?pageID=standard&key=subaruaqnotices
mention 3% and $500, but not much else. Chase and Subaru both seem
real eager to get one to apply before they offer the information,
which I consider a bad sign.
Thanks for any insight (including general satisfaction, etc.) from
current participants.

The vouchers are good for 4 years.
If you use them on parts/service/labor you forfeit any leftover amount. So if say the
mirror with compass costs $160.00 and you use 2 $100 vouchers you just paid $200 for
the mirror, no change, no credits for partial usage.
I believe it's calendar year (jan 1st) as opposed to fiscal year (june xx) or from
when you opened the account.

I think yes as the vouchers don't have anybody's name on them.

Sure. Why not?

I don't like the having to use the whole voucher at once part but I can live with it.
