Cool link, Jeff.
I remember years ago, back in the '50s and '60s, theVancouver Sun newspaper had an
editorial cartoonist by the name of Len Norris. He drew beautifully-detailed cartoons. One
of his recurring themes was board meetings in the offices of the "Acme Pewter Tuning Fork
Company."
And there is an Acme Cemetary not far from my place. I wonder if they are holding a place
for Wile E. Coyote if his Acme parachute fails to open? Conflict of interest, anybody?

I still don't see the Acme 'Instant Put-it-to-Sleep' gun, though. But
Gord, you may remember the Acme Novelty Company that started out in
Edmonton. Their main line was gaming supplies, but they also sold lots
of other products. Last I heard, Acme Novelty got bought up by Jim
Pattison in the mid-seventies and integrated into his Neonex group of
companies.
