As many of you realize, the Transtar is my daily ride and workhorse. I
AM making progress towards bringing the '57 President 2dr back on it's feet
for a daily ride as well.
Alot of you have listed numerous Studes here - not all have indicated
which ones they drive regularly (not necessarily DAILY as I realize the
reluctance to do so in the road-salt states). I'd like to know what you get
around in most of the time - Stude or brand X?
And Jerry - Thanks for inititating a Stude-subject thread <G> Maybe
you'll start a trend.

Since it is more fun just to drive them, I have a 1963 Cruiser with
289
stick & overdrive, to use as a summer driver and tour car. Lots of
bondo,
flat sheet metal, screws and plastic roofing tar. Looks good at 20
feet, but is not. Car was about to be junked, so I adopted it. Owned
for 10 years.
Out of a total of 28 Studebakers once owned, all at different times,
many are still in S.D.C.
I have quite a bit of memorabilia and related toys to take up where

I'd love to drive these cars on a daily basis...the child safty seat
law in Pennsylvania has ended that for the time being. Max (15 months
old) rides either in a '97 Subaru Legacy Wagon or a 2002 5.9L Durango
