OK, for those who needed some extra assistance troubleshooting
signal-stats, I finally dug out my unit (not a word!)

models 900, 901, 910: (probably what most of you have)

red: right front turn signal
green: left front turn signal
black: right stop/turn
grey: left stop/turn
black/grey: stop light switch
yellow: load (from flasher)
blue: pilot (from flasher)

I'm assuming for this unit that the flasher needs to be a 3-terminal
unit, or a SPDT type of deal. There is a Signal-Stat part number (180)
but that's for a 12V unit. I tried to get it to work with a Chevy fuse
block (I cannibalized a Chevy truck for a wiring harness - this unit was
originally going into a Chevy street rod) which uses a 2-terminal
flasher since there are two turn signal indicators on the dash by using
diodes between the front turn signal leads and the pilot lead, it didn't
work. Not sure if I f'ed something up or just needed bigger diodes.

models 902, 903:

green: left turn signal
red: right turn signal
yellow: load
blue: pilot

model 905:

(same as 900 but in addition has:)
white/green - low beams (from relay)
yellow/black - high beams (from relay)
purple - power (from relay)
white - ground (from relay)

9091 is the part number for a replacement handle and hi/lo beam switch
for the 905.

for all units:

pilot bulb:
6V - #51
12V - #53
24V - #356

flasher:
12V - 180
24V - 120

if you would like a scan of the actual sheet e-me.

Just to be complete I stopped at Neil's (the good auto parts store in
Riverdale) on my lunch break today

the correct 6 volt flasher is Ideal part no. 535

they have no #51 bulbs (wasn't this a recent thread) but suggested 1898
for a replacement, I got it for free 'cause it wasn't in the puter :)

BTW I know where there's a site that explains all the different part
numbers, base sizes, globe differences, wattage, light output, etc. for
12V bulbs - anyone have anything similar for 6V?

Nate,
I will have a look in an old, old Allied Radio catalog I have. I doubt
it will have much on strictly "automotive" bulbs, but the miniature
bulbs as used in dashes are "pilot lights" in the radio trade, or were,
at any rate.
