Need help on dropping my rear end...(PIC)

I replaced the rear springs on my 59 lark this past winter.

I used a sawzall to cut the old bolts and bought new bolts.

Even if you are reusing your old springs, it maybe easier to cut the
bolt and then get the spring up on a work bench to drive the bolt
out.(Or use the smoke wrench on it).

The problem is , the inner steel shell of the bushing has over the last
half century adhered itself to the bolt.

Remove the U-bolts that hold the pass side spring to the axle. Set the
axle a bit forward on the spring (assuming you have the driveshaft
disconnected) Then pull the spring off the shackle you show in the photo.
