Unfit for man or beast, but Saturday was worse...

Yes, you're puttin' up with what we had most of last week.

Today was fair with the temp near 70. Overall, this fall has been the
coldest I can remember since coming to Austin twenty years ago.

Four inches of rain in Brooklet in 24 hours...
At least it almost hit 70 today!

We got the rain without the warm. Was barely over freezing this AM,
and my car was covered with ice :(

Of course I'd forgot to put the windshield wipers up, because I didn't
anticipate it getting that cold...

We had 'another' four inches of rain last night, with thunder and
lightning...The works.
But...again, it was 65+ degree's...
Good thing I am in high ground (<lol>..high ground is 53' above seal
level when everything else is 50' above sea level...)
Rivers are really high, but that's expected.
Low lying properties are flooded this morning.
Sun came up a half hour ago and there were multiple rainbows at
sunrise...
Set a couple of buckets out in the shop to catch a few drips.
Ran a deck screw in where the (steel) roof was leaking, so I could
seal the leak up when things dry out.
Oh well........

Yep! Here it s not even midnight and it's down to almost fifty.
