The man at the store gave me the formulas and showed me the colors on
the computer monitor. On the computer, it just looks like water colors
to me. Does anyone have a good picture of one or hopefully both of
these colors on a Studebaker that you could share with me?

Momz described these as I'm not always reliable with shades of red, but
Cherokee Red sits nicely a shade darker the Chadron Red and a shade
lighter then Shoshone Red.
Making a JPG of these sheets will do little good, due to color variances
in scanners, video cards, monitors, and the lossy nature of JPGs.
The Color Sheets are common on EBay.

But, I have awesome night vision, and I think that makes up for poor
perception of Reds.

Take a look at Alan & Cathy Mende's '54 Commander in the photo section of
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/studebaker-drivers/. We had it
painted Shoshone Red with a Sandusky Beige top. The shop matched color
samples from a 1954 Studebaker brochure showing available colors.
Kindest regards,

PS: Try contacting Fred Smoyer at Antique and Classic Restorations
(610)-767-8012. He painted the car, so he probably has the formula.

I saw the picture of your car with the Shoshone Red and Sandusky Beige
top. Do you happen to have a picture of the finished car? I really
like the color in the picture.

Richard
