I Brought a LEMON

I saw this Peugeot 306 for sale in mt local paper for £400. I have a 406 at
present so I thought I would get another one and scrap my 406

I took it on a short test drive (BIG MISTAKE) and every thing looked OK a
very tidy car. It was not untill I went for a long drive that I over
heated. OK thermostat jamed no problem, fixed that. Still over heated it
was not untill i took the rad cap off when the car was running did I find
out I had brought a LEMON. To cut the story short the car had a cracked
cylinder head. Of course the person who sold the car would not let me have
my money back so I'm now stuck and will have to scrap the car (Shame it is
very nice car)

SO! IF you buy a car take it on a LONG test drive check the oil for water
and take off the rad cap whilst it is running and look at the level. This
is all basic stuff that I did not do.
