96 Olds with 3100 engine

My brother has an 96 Olds Ciero or something like that, but it has 75k
miles on it about 2 yrs ago he had the have new head gaskets and intake
gaskets installed, he called me the other day and was saying he has to
add 1 qt of antifreeze a week, the is no water in the oil, I cant seem
to see any white smoke while it is running, the enginedoes not miss
while driving ect. so he is on disability and can't afford another vist
to the local garage, which they want around $700 to replace the gaskets,
so I know that sealants are not the best choice, but since price is a
priority is concerned, does anyone have any suggestions of the sealants
that you add to the Radiator to try to see if he can get another year
out it. are any better than the other.
