Hi All,

I am looking at a used 2003 Maxima GLE, when I took it for a test drive I
turned on the seat heater for the driver's side and the switch light did not
come on. After a few minutes the seat started to heat up, I also tried the
passenger side switch and the light went on and I assume that the seat
heater worked (the sales guy was setting in the passenger seat).

Is this a big deal, could it indicate that there is a problem or is just an
annoyance that the light doesn't come on? Could it just be a matter of
installing a new switch? I suspect that the switch has an LED in it and I
didn't think that LEDs were prone to "burning" out.

Thanks,

PJ

I know this is no answer to your question, but coincidentally, I have the
same problem in my 2003 Maxima SE
