Cost of Manual tranny clutch

It's difficult to give an accurate answer from a distance. Labor rates
vary widely from place to place. A well-qualified independent shop can do
a clutch job just as well as the dealer.

This is a sincere response, not a smart-ass reply. You should open the
Yellow Pages, get on the phone, and answer your own question.

I recently replaced the clutch on my '96. Dealers in my area quoted $500 -
$700 with parts. Factory parts are about $200 from the local dealership.
I'm sure that local clutch shop would be even less.

labor will most likely be much more that the parts... They need to remove
the transmmission (or at least disconnect it from the engine) I am sure
they will charge a standard hour count (and if it takes more you pay more
but if it takes less oh well sorry you still pay the standard..)

Typical clutch jobs are about $500-$700. I think parts run about
$200-$250. You do the math.
