I'm looking to replace the stock speakers in my 2k SE. Anyone know
what size they are. Any suggestions for replacements?

Thanks
-Jon

I'm assuming you don't have the Bose system. The cheap base speakers are
6.5" round. However, it's not a simple remove and replace operation. You'll
see what I mean when you get the door panels off.

I installed Pioneer TS-A1668 3 ways all around. They sound good but the
extra bass they're capable of tends to rattle my doors a bit. Gonna have to
go back and dampen things, some day.

Yes they are 6.5 inch all around. I just had mine upgraded to Boston Acoustics.
Droped in a alpine 5 ch amp / sub inclosure at the same time. Needed just a bit
more bass and more power to drive the BA's. It sound alot better now.

Did you replace your receiver or keep the stock one?

If you go to Crutchfields web site www.crutchfield.com and look up your car
they list 51/4 and 61/2 as proper sizes. Are the speakers different size
front and back perhaps. Also It depends if you have the Bose system or not
.
