We have an 09 4x4 Sportage with auto tranmssion and all options except
for navigation aid. We are delighted after 5500 miles. It is the 2nd
Sportage we have owned and the 5th Kia. The 05 Sorento has been the
only disappointment (electrical issues). 01 Rio went 165K miles with
no issues (original timing belt) and our '98 Sportage went 127K until
timing belt change and had 135K when we sold it (still running fine).
I have a 06 Rio5 with 92K and have had no issues.

We would have had to spend over $5K more for a Rav or CRV which we
just didn't have at the time.
