I'd like to know what currently is the best 24mm butterfly carb for my
reed-valve 125cc IAME engine (axle clutch, no gearbox).

I'd also like to know what I can do to improve the performance of my
Tillotson HL 334A 24mm carb (especially high end power).

Hello Stefan,

I'm also driving the same engine, same class.
My carb. is an HHC 24mm. I had a Tilitson 22mm, which was originally
installed.
I also have good experiences with an IBEA 24mm with 3 nozzles.
I drove at Zandvoort last month and came to 16350 rpm with 66/11
sprockets. That's about 155 km/h :)
I haven't found another curcuit (in Holland) where I can reach these
RPM's. (normally I use 83/11 sprockets)

It should be about 28 HP. I'm not sure. With the 22mm carb it was 25 HP.

See You Around.

What about the circuit of Assen ?? You can drive there several times a year
when the motoring club of Assen hires the circuit. They hire the circuit
about 5 or 6 times a year. Only bikes and karts are allowed on the circuit.

Bye,

Only 125cc gearbox & 250cc karts drive there.
the 125cc gearbox karts reach a top speed of approx. 180 km/h.

PS. do you live in the neighbourhood of the circuit?
( I do )

l8er,
Stefan
