Seems that Jags are used many times by the villians in the movies.

A John Wayne film, "Branigan" (SP?), used a coupe for the bad guy. It was
launched into the Thames River when John Wayne's character finially managed to
shoot the bad guy who was trying to run Wayne down with the car.

The Movie Brannigan with John Wayne has a Series 1 Coupe, the killer out to
get John Wayne is driving it. But the best XKE movie out there would have
to be 52-Pick up, It has a beautifal S1 Roadster with many shots of it.
Rent this movie just for the car, i'm serious.

If anyone has anymore let me know!
Thanks

Here's three off the top of my head:

Harold and Maude (E-Type Hearse!!!)
Vanishing Point (E-Type into the river)
Bullit (brief glimpse of white E-Type as Bullit arrives at the
airport)

Many more are listed here:

Theres a red series 3 roadster in Steven Kings "Cujo". I dont know if
the spelling is correct. Its about a killer dog attacking people.
"52 pickup" has some great scenes of a beautiful silver series 1
roadster. Theres one part where Roy Shieder is driving it hard thru some
twisting mountains & theres xlnt camera work.

The movie "She's Out Of Control" Has a great drag race scene between a S1
4.2 Roadster a 60's Corvette. Jag gets hit by a train in the end. (Might
be more scenes of the car in the movie but thats all I saw?)

1. "Car Trouble" - a couple take their E-Type fhc to a park for a bit of
nookie and then she (Julia Walters?) `clamps` on him and they are `locked`.
When they`re eventually discovered, the fire brigade has to cut the car in
two to remove them!
2. There was a Jon Voight movie c. `68 (cant remember the name "The
something Papers, or File"?) set in Germany in which the counterfeit
printer that he visits has a white Roadster
3. "Love Story" - Ray Milland drives an S2. Roadster

Try "Vanishing Point" good sequence of XKE racing with Dodge Challenger
