I have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo on which the horn has stopped working. When
I press on the steering wheel to activate the horn, I hear a clicking
noise coming from directly behind the glove box (just a single click,
not repeating). I have checked the fuse for the horn, and it is okay.
Does anyone have any ideas where I should begin? Thanks in advance.

You can check for voltage at the horn. Just have someone tap the horn
while measuring (and wearing ear plugs in case!). Maybe a loose wire to
the horn. I have an Amigo but should be the same. Horn is on the
passenger side on the fender well. Is it still under warranty?

Huff, I believe you are referring to the alarm horn on the fender. The
traffic horn is behind the front grille towards the passenger side. Yes,
there are two horns in a Rodeo/Amigo equipped with an anti-theft alarm.

Adrian, you could try swapping the two horns, and throwing away the one that
no longer works (if that's the case). A used horn from a junkyard will only
cost you a couple of dollars. While you're at it, replace the original horn
with one from a big American car. The Isuzu horn is wimpy. If you don't have
access to a junkyard, any auto-parts store will have a generic horn in
stock.
