Let's see, a brick going through air with around 140HP. I would guess no
faster than 200 km/h or around 125 mph. Why would you want to go that fast
or care how fast it will go. This is NOT a performance vehicle.

Why? It's only got 160 hp, weighs 3600 lbs., Car and Driver
says 109 mph.

Not that I don't go over the speed limit, but anything over 85 (I think it
is) is Criminal Driving and could get you one massive ticket as it is
considered Felony Driving (not that I or any others never go over 85, yeah
right.. heh).

Then again, knowing how fast your car can go, and actually driving that
fast, are two completely different things..

I did'nt ask for any one's opinion about what's criminal driving and what
not. I'm livin in Germany and here on the highways you have got a problem,
if your car has not at least a top speed of 180 km/h (110 mph). In Germany,
and all over Europe, the top speed is a very important data among the specs
of a car, and I wondered so much, that no official Honda site nor any
carmagazine's site provide the potential owner or the interested enthusiast
with that info.

At least: On German highways, there's no general speed limit for cars. That
means, if there's no sign, you even can (and are allowed to) drive 300 km/h!

Adil Thomas Seyrek

Doesn't matter if you asked for any one's opinion or not, I gave you my
opinion. If you're in Germany then it doesn't matter, the laws in the U.S.
obviously don't apply to you, so ignore them (the laws and my opinion).. If
you're allowed to go 300 km/h, hey go for it.. more power to ya! :-) I wish
I could drive that fast (legally of course), but I can't, so oh well.

Heck, I had my 1987 Honda Accord LXi up to 95 mph late one evening a
couple weeks ago on the freeway, but when I saw it could run that fast
and still felt like it could accelerate with no problems, I brought it
back down to normal freeway speed and brought it home. ;-)

You guys, calm down.

We are talking about an Element not an S2000.

surely you didn't get an Element to go 200km/hr.... I hope not at least.
