Looking to buy this car . New had a GM product. The car has 212,000 miles on it
although it doesnt look it. Should I stay away or can I expect to have some
reliability. Maybe someone could share some of there experiences with a similar
car. Thanks

Hmm . . . . Good question. I own a 91 Eldorado with 130K and wouldn't sell it
for anything. Its a neat car. Powerful, handles like a sports car, firm ride
(which I like) and gets great gas mileage (30 mpg on long trips, 24 in town).
Its just a fun car, period.

I guess the answer would be what they asking for it. The TC is the "prefered"
Eldo, but don't discount a good clean regular Eldo. I doubt you would be able
to tell the difference other than the cosmetics.

My own view would be if I had to have an Eldorado, it would have less miles and
be a 1) 91 with the 4.9 2) 90 with the 4.5, not as "snappy" but essentially the
same car.

I have seen 90/91 ETC's advertised with much less miles but they will cost you
more.

So, my final judgement would be OK if you get it for less than $5k.
