The U.S. automakers have been licking their chops to take a hard swipe
at Toyota over unintended acceleration. None had the guts to actually
do it. Saturday Night Live SNL, however, does with this anti-Toyota
commercial Ford wishes they could really run.

The difference is that the Prius is actually without brakes at times, but
the FoMoCo's have brakes at all times. I would much rather drive a vehicle
that *seems* to have no brakes than one that *actually* has no brakes,
IYKWIM :-)

Ummmmmmm - you sure of that? Stepping on the brake pedal of a Ford hybrid
does the same as stepping on the brake pedal of a BrandX hybrid... The car
goes into regenerative braking.... The first brake you feel is the wheel
motors turning into generators...

FWIW... hybrids give a whole new focus on bleeding brakes...
