Does anyone know the specs and performance of ferrari's f1 car. I'm
desperately searching the web and can't seem to find anything about
0-60, top speed etc?

Is it all top secret and unknown, or what?

Even best guesses would be welcome

Cheers, Will

Although, I'm sure you can probably find very general specs or
estimates on a F1 car's performance. You must remember that it is the
nature of F1 to not have static specs.
Example: Top Speed
Top Speed is different at every circuit. It is dependent on
gearing, downforce and other forces of physics and engineering that are
a mystery to me. Top speed at Monza and Hockinheim will be much higher
than say Monaco or Hungary.
Vice Versa with acceleration.
Lateral G's are very hard to determine compared to road cars because
an F1 cars downforce doesn't come into play on a skid pad. Therefore
yielding a false report of how the car will respond in a curve.
This said, I would still like to know how Shue's Ferrari would rate in
an R&T type road test. Post it if you find anything.

all the specs are published of the Ferraries.
The one our team holds, F1 91 643 makes it in less then 2.7 secs to the 60

Engine Engine: Ferrari 047

Injection: Magneti Marelli
Electronics: Magneti Marelli
Dimensions: Length: 620 cm, Width: –, Height: 380 cm
Car

Gearbox: Ferrari longitudinal gearbox – 7 gears plus reverse
Clutch: Manual command on steering wheel
Front Suspension: Push-Rod
Rear Suspension: Push-Rod
Dampers: Ferrari
Tyres: Goodyear
Brakes: Brembo
Instruments: Magneti Marelli

Dimensions: Length: 4340 mm; Width: 1795 mm; Wheelbase: 961 mm;
Front/Rear Track: 1490 mm/1405 mm

The actual performance numbers are a guarded secret. However, Ferrari
engines turn at or very near 17,000 rpm in qualification trim. 0-60
problably somewhere in the 2 sec range. Top speed is illrelevant,
since F1 engines are tuned for usable powerband, not drag racing.
Let's just say, they get to terminal velocity very quickly :)

Hope this helps

Actual performance stats are a deep dark secret, especially, since the
racing season isn't over. However, it widely suspected Ferrari's
current engine turns at or very near 17,000 rpm. 0-60 time, my guess
in the upper 2 sec range. Top speed is not as important in F1 as
usable power band. Top speed would depend upon which circuit the
engine was developed for. Let's just say, that all F1 cars reach
terminal velocity very quickly. :) Equally, impressive is an F1
car's ability to go from terminal velocity to a near stop in extremely
short distances (even with the dorky groved tires)
