Europeans have the right idea in that there should be no speed limits
on the superhighways and some regular highways. Thank G-d for the
Valentine 1, which gives us one of the few weapons we have against the
infamous police radar. (State police must practice with paintball for
the privlige of aggravating us with their radar guns).

In the battle of Ferrari vs Police- what is the fastest speeding ticket
you ever got( if any), talked your way out of, or beat while driving a
Ferrari? What happened? Do you think police unfairly single you out
because you drive a Ferrari? No BS please. Comments appreciated.

Totally off topic, but god is not a name, it's a job title. You're allowed to
write it down. I'm assuming that you're Jewish.

Hey, "C.", do ya really have comment on everything? Shit, you suck! And,
BTW, in this form, God isn't a job title, but a name...

In article <8jp1kn$ooh$1...@nnrp1.deja.com>,

Ed, I am a cop magnet. I have been pulled over more in the last 4
months (1/mo) than in the last twelve years (before then was bad news).

Not once did I get issued a ticket. All were by cops in my village,
each a different one with a rather silly reason. Only one was related
to going a bit faster than permitted. I have seen only one other
Ferrari (308, a nice one too) out in my area over 6 years as I think
this has something to do with it.

Each officer talked with me after discussing business about the car. I
was happy to indulge as these were nice guys. I am sure the time will
come though that I have a similar chat with a State cop and drive away
(or carried away in cuffs) with an expensive piece of paper.

Can't help myself. 80 feels like 40 in my car. It's not my fault.

I think you'll find that that's the whole point of a discussion group.

And God is *not* a name, Jehovah, is a name - as in 'This Halibut is
good enough for Jehovah !'

Yes, I must, as evidenced by the fact that I'm bothering to reply to you.

<<Shit, you suck!>>

And your girlfriend doesn't?

<<And, BTW, in this form, God isn't a job title, but a name...>>

Which god? Zeus? Apollo? Osiris? They all have names just like Jehovah, Yaweh,
et al.

Do you really want to debate theology with me? I don't suggest it.

Now, now. Being opinionated is hardly unusual for this group. But
that's just my opinion, of course. ;)

Being crudely abusive _is_ a little off the mark, though.

But come on, computer people. Let's remember those "transportable"
shell scripts, shall we?

Now let's get back to the Ferrari discussions, for $(DEITY)'s sake. ;^)

I got stopped in an F355 whilst not even moving. Usual bullshit, "can you
step out of the car, is this your car etc..." Should have told him " fuck
you - asshole" just like in the first terminator film, but I was too polite
him.

What was his reason for "stopping" you?
