And I'll be loading quite a few more, as soon as I (yeah, the computer god,
right) can figure out what the hell to use for an FTP tool (I gots XP).

He, backwards FTP.. the point was that people here should be able to DL the
stuff, instead everyone is going to UL ;)

I believe we can add another expert to our burgeoning roster of same.
Thanks for the instructions, all my automotive videos that are not dupes
should be uploaded sometime tonight (PST). Perhaps Chris will be willing to
explain to me off-board how to set up my own site, and then if you want any
other stuff ...

Let's just forget I said that.

OK - E me if you're interested in some other type of videotaped record of
cultural or social significance (nothing that is illegal, of course).
Anything from little jokies to 911-related to bumfights to more ...
bachelor-party type material. I carry a little inventory. Your requests
will be considered strictly confidential.

Setting up your own FTP server is actually dead simple.. not much to it.

Doesn't it default to binary?

Hmmm ... guess not. Just throw a:

ftp> binary
Type set to I.

into the original list of commands somewheres before any mput/mget.

How do I connect, i.e. what's the IP address and port numbers?
I have an FTP client.

Haven't seen any of them, but I'm not interested
in the road cars much.

Already have it.

Haven't seen these either. I assume the Fiat ad was
where Schumacher got stuck in traffic and a Fiat
wheezed by?

> Top_Gear-Ferrari_Special-pt1, mpg, 38.9MB

Ahh, I have seen this one. It's the one for winning
the 2000 F1 championship, done at Mugello, also
incorporating the inaugural 360 Challenge
season-ending race. I also have the second part,
which is a short review of the actual race, done
inside the cockpit of an actual 360 Challenge
car, as driven by Tiff Needell.

Great racing, too bad the quality isn't too good.

First of these is actually the same as Ferrari_lefilm (or something like
that) clip and the second one continues where the first one ended.

> > Ferrari F355 Berlinetta with FS Racing Exhaust, mpg, 1.69MB
> > Ferrari F355 -Japanese test drive, avi, 9.03MB

This is the clip with yellow F355 going through some testing on track.
Enthusiastic commentary in Japanese.

> > Ferrari F360 Modena vs. 996 Turbo, mpg, 4.52MB

This is also a Japanese clip with 'Modera' and Turbo on a drag race.

Schumacher drives his F1 in traffic, gets a bit pissed with his car and ends
up going to a Fiat dealer. Getaway F40 is the clip where that Japanese
Ferrari club member drives his F40 at 300+ km/h on a public highway.
Randezvous(Rendezvous?) is the classic 1960:s clip where someone blasts
through the streets of Paris in a 275GTB.

Naa, remember this is MS software, having it default to binary would be way
to logical and cause less hassle ;)

Gotta get that second one.

Wonder if your 61.3mb mpg is any clearer than my 6.8mb asx file. I'll bet
it is.

Sorry I haven't uploaded my mother lode yet, I was drunk and excitable after
the Bear loss last night and somehow I actually managed to fall asleep.
Sometime today I'll load up my feebly-titled offerings.

Don't think I haven't thought about that ... unfortunately as I am adopted I
don't have a ready list of "potential things with which I can be afflicted

more for those downstream of me - I *know* what's in the cards for them ...

Hmm, I was only joking (not that Alzheimers is anything to joke about, but
still).
I don't know much about (anything) my relatives either. Whatever information
I manage to gather trickles in bit by bit and most of it comes way to
late...

If that doesn't work try:

http://194.236.2.188/ferrari/

if THAT doesn't work my Apache server is nugging again, then just try a
little later.
