Hi
A friend of mine gave me his radio from a Dodge
Ram truck, a 1998 version, has am/fm casette but
he clipped the wires in the back and I need to
know what wires connect to power, speakers, etc.
It has 2 flat connectors near the top, one on the
right with 6 wires , one on the left with 7
wires, has a Chrysler Corporation tag with a part
number Po4858531, S/N T53AH3565J1183, issue 2,
date code 3565, supplier 07910.

Any assistance will be much appreciated

Thanks

You are correct at least as far back as 84......we have a 92 radio in an 84
van.

Oh man, isn't that unusual, the guy cut the wiring harness in his truck for
you! I always have to go to the junk yard to harvest those plugs. Anyway, here
are the facts. To the best of my knowledge, 1984 and up radio wiring is the
same, i.e., if you're putting the radio into a 1984 or newer Mopar, it's a
straight plug in operation, unplug your old radio and plug in your new radio
and you're done. Now if you're putting it into a 1983 or older, well, the story
