Is there any after market lift pumps available for the Cummins Ram? Looks
like I need another new one.

What's your fuel pressure?
Cummins is the only game in town for a lift pump that I'm aware of.
There are those you have tried a "pusher pump" in conjunction with the lift
pump.but the jury is sorta still out on them.
Check the TDR and search lift pump.

Looks like they are selling the Cummins lift pump for more than you will pay
at the Cummins dealer.

Lift pumps,
I used to have a Toyota Diesel and the lift pump went south, so I bought a
electric pump installed it in series with the fuel line and guess what it
worked just fine. So if ever my Cummins lift pump goes south I'll probably
will repeat that very same simple solution spend $20 for a simple electric
pump and go on my way!!!!

One of the guys at work used a NAPA generic electric fuel pump on his 92
Cummins. Never heard any complaints from him.

There are pusher pumps. I don't know about any aftermarket lift pumps
though. I have a stanadyne pump with its own pressure regulator that I got
a while back. It also has a water fuel seperator and filter. However, you
don't want something that's going to provide too much pressure to the inj.
pump.

My lift pump was not covered under warranty, but my inj pump was.

Please tell me more up the pusher with reg. What pressure do you have it set
for? Any pic's of the installation?

Why wasn't it covered? You over 100K? Looking at the "bombing" I'm surprised
they covered the i/pump, or did you remove the edge?

Never mind I found it. Again sold by one of your sponsors. Looks like it is
a heck of a setup. Anybody have any long term use report on it as yet?

I didn't have an EZ or Comp on the truck at the time my inj pump took a
dump. Some dealers cover the lift pump under the 100k mile warranty, some
don't. Don't know why, that's just the way it is.

What's your point? Sponsor or no sponsor, I would not recommend any product
that I didn't like. I would just never say anything about it. On top of
this, the product is not built by a sponsor on my site. You won't find an
ad from Stanadyne anywhere on it. I like you Roy, but I don't like where
your posts are going and I feel like you are accusing me of something where
there is nothing. I don't particularly appreciate it, but it's a free world
so you can think what you want. I guess owning a site that has a decent
amount of traffic is kind of like being a politician. Much of what people
accuse you of, or what they say about you isn't true. I learn more of that
every day and take it all with a grain of salt. I'm troubled by this coming
from you though, because I thought we had worked our issues out long ago.
Am I wrong in assuming this?

I don't have anything to report at this point. Probably in the next couple
of months when I collect some real data.

My point, and it isn't really too big a deal is that I feel if one has a
relationship with a company that is more than a customer, it should be made
known when one recommends the product.

The pump is marketed as a kit by ATS

Not accusing you of anything Jack, the posts are merely imo. The site is a
plus, ya did good with it. Just voicing an opinion, do what you want with
it.
