Don't know about that button but if you are a first time cummins
owner there are a few things you should do. Go to the Turbo Diesel
Registor http://turbodieselregister.com/ and click on discussion
groups. Go to 2nd generation and then to 12 valve, Your 97 is a 2nd
gen with 12 valve engine. Pay attention to the KDP (killer dowel pin)
thread. A lot of Great info on this site for cummins diesel ownders.
Great motors! In the last issue of TDR, a man has over a million miles
on a 1995 Dodge cummins, with orginal engine. Your year enging can be
hopped up rather easily.
