HI all,

I'm trying to decide which kind of tonneau to get, the snap on or the
Sabre "zip-loc" style. Ease of use and resistance to letting
water/dirt in are my key considerations.

Any comments/tips appreciated.

Hello
I've had an Extang on my last two trucks,
both had the snaps with no problems. No
dirt or rain got in...

I had two extang covers. Very reliable but if you live where it gets cold, i
strongly suggest staying with the snaps. They didn't let in any dirt or
water in any conditions. The "zip-lock" type is a real pain in the butt when
it gets cold and the nylon tracks tend to wear out.

I have the Extang Classic on my Ram. Great cover for what it is. It has
reversible snaps for a tighter ot looser fit. It has its own frame that
clamps to the bed rails.
Cost about 150 when I bought mine.

I have a top very similar to the extang roll in the only difference is it
dont have the pull tabs. Its sharp but the nearly impossible to fasten
when cold or roll up summer and winter . I would go with the snaps if I
had to do it again.

I Have the Saber (Zip-loc style) love it would get another if I had to. Looks
better than any snap cover could.
