I don't know where you are located, but I live in Camas, WA, just across
the river from Portland, OR. About an hour ago at a local BP station where
I have been filling up, I noticed the same thing. 1.09 for Truck Diesel,
1.16 for Auto Diesel. I asked about the difference and was told the only
difference was price - both were +ACM-2 Diesel. The Truck bay is on one end of
the building for easier large truck access. Guess where I will continue to
buy my fuel+ACE-
There are no price differentials here in NJ, just pump differentials at
some stations. The "car nozzle" shuts off when full like a gasoline
nozzle, the "truck nozzle" doesn't.

"Truck" diesel is simply un-taxed as trucking companies pay the fuel tax
quarterly or at the end of the year depending on their situation. You may
notice the "truck" diesel price labeled as P.U.C. price. It's the same fuel,
just a different tax payment arrangement.
Steve
You apparently live in Oregon, as PUC is an Oregon term. You are 100%
correct, except outside of Oregon the fuel tax for trucks is claimed as a
"third structure tax" (the Oregon PUC falls into that catagory).
