i drive quite often at all times of the day and night with top out what safety tips might some of
you employ to remain safe in regards to car jacking, robbery etc ?
I live in Central Fl. area so the weather is very conducive to open air driving but like any good
size city crime is fairly common place.

for example i try never to get boxed in at a traffic light / i leave about 2 1/2 car lengths ahead
of me when i stop.

also i avoid stopping at quick mart type stores late at night

your ideas are appreciated thank you in advance

Hey net Boy,

From all the BS you have spewed, your breath would rival that of Godzilla!
Just opening your mouth would knock down a mugger or carjacker at 20 feet.

Why not bottle that crap and sell it on your website? Here's a suggestion -
"C-5 Motorsport" anti-carjack spray- will repel all would assailants at 20
feet. Patent pending and copyrighted. Just 19.95 a bottle. ha

I see you still want to flash guns. Like that feeling of power? Watch out,
those things really can harm someone and, unlike your BS, that damage is not
easily overcome.

Shut up .......net boy

As much as I like the .45, I have to say revolver, here. No use spewing
empty cases all over, providing forensics with evidence. .357 has a good
reputation, use 125 gr. loads, think about something like Remington's
medium velocity load. It's more controllable, and may exhibit less
flash. Don't use a long-barrelled gun. The length of the barrel just
makes it easier for the bad guy to wrest it away from you. 4" is about
max.; I personally favor 3". Some sort of non-lethal response is not a
bad idea. Pepper spray, Mace, etc., ARE bad ideas, since it might blow
back and incapacitate YOU! Some sort of sharp object, or a flail, to
discourage grasping hands, might help you to avoid having to shoot
someone. I've carried guns most of my adult life, but I hope that I
never have to shoot anyone. Nobody "wins" a gunfight; the best you can
hope for is that you come out of it no worse off that you were before it
occurred (which seldom happens).

> Suggestion 2: I Agree one should never flash or brag about how much cash they have on them but the
> corvette alone will attract undue attentions from would be assailants

Yup. So, be aware. Be alert. You should be able to see these things
coming, mostly. Practice 360 degree awareness. Pretend you're driving
illegally, and trying to spot cops before they spot you, if it helps(g).
Set your speed to hit the lights AS they turn green, still rolling, if
possible. Pick an alternate route. It isn't worth it to save 10 minutes,
to go where you may be victimized. Don't travel the same route every
day. It might get the bad guys attention, and they might wait for your
daily arrival.

> Suggestion 3: Be Nice
>
Right! Never try to piss people off; it might work! On the other hand,
don't act like a scared little victim-in-waiting. Meet the world with a
smile, and a firm, confident demeanor. Most people are not going to be
your enemy. For those that are intent upon doing you wrong, make
provisions for dealing with that situation.

Carry the gun in a small of the back holster - if the guy wants your
wallet, you can get the gun instead and you win. BUT, if he's holding a
gun on you at the time, best advice is to give him what he wants and cut
your losses. I would definitely recommend getting a carry permit if
possible. If you shoot someone, even in self defense, with an illegal
weapon ( carried concealed w/o permit, FI ), you WILL get some kind of
comeuppance, whether it be criminal law or civil law.

God, I hate those things! The Bianchi with the metal clip tends to come
out WITH the gun, which can make it difficult to get your finger in the
trigger guard. I find them to be uncomfortable as hell when seated in a
chair of any kind, and the sweat rolls down your back all over the gun,
rotting the finish (and underneath the grips on a stainless which AREN'T
rustproof).

And he might do you anyway. Probably not. And if I had a passenger, I'd
give strong consideration to your idea. If I'm alone, I'm better off
shooting him. He has already put me in fear for my life, and the outcome
is problematical. Best play it safe.

Definitely.

If you're foolish enough to stay around. I say "foolish", because he
might have a bunch of friends nearby who would try to avenge him. Better
to leave, and save your life.

These days a gun is a good idea, you never know when you may need it and I
think the best place is on yourself NOT in the car. Even in FL a permit is a
smart idea, shooting someone without a permit will just create too many
problems.

One more suggestion... if you pull it out USE it don't wait otherwise
someone will before you.

Well you get the idea - do 'em if ya can - also it's legal to shoot
drivers who ignore a red light when you're waiting to go straight the
opposite way (not - :-D)!

I prefer an inexpensive gun, in case the gendarmes decide to confiscate

You sound like you're straight out of rec.guns......do you wear cammies
and a beret? :-)
Seem to know your guns - I also prefer the 1911 .45 ACP, but I'm too
small to hide it effectively (unless I get a holster that'll fit under
my belly :-) plus it's single action, and the small .45 autos are too
expensive to risk losing.
Of course, I spent $300 on my Airweight..... grin

Please help : Self defense question in regards to an armed attack in parking lot or at stop light in
convertible or in my case (removable top corvette ). I'm in Central Fl. and the weather here is very
conducive to open air driving year round and at all hours of the day and night.

1. what are the best defensive measures one can take to prevent an attack ?
1. what is the best firearm for this?
2. where is best place to keep a firearm in the auto?
3. what defensive tactics are best when faced with armed attacker ?
4. training centers in Florida?

Colt Pocket Lite is very small and light. To be used as a last
resort. There are plenty of people who will take exception (although
those close to you may never know). Remember, you can only count on
yourself in a pinch.

Nice gun. You can get the trigger lower that 4-4 1/2, especially with a
lightened trigger. Both my .45s go 3 1/4-3 1/2 and don't follow, with a
mag in place. I'm doing a ghost ring on the old Czech, to see if I like
it. To be precise, a ghost ring rear with a tritium shotgun front sight.
I am going to do a dovetail front, and then drill and tap it for the
screw-in shotgun sight. The rear is already fabbed and on. It sticks up
a bit, but I guess one could reason that it makes jam clearing drills
easier.(g)

BTW, correction it's Norinco with a C not a K, I made a mistake. It's a
chinese gun and my wife better not use, she can shoot the wrong person. At
the range she managed to shoot the wrong target.... For that.... it's more
than enough.

The 98FS is military issue, I love the gun but I messed up one thing, I
purchased a laser pointer (trigger guard mounted) and at times I have a
problems with my nuckle...

Charles,

Do you own this gun? NICE! Did you mention in a follow up post that
your wife uses it? Is this the kind of gun you carry or is this more of
a collectors gun?

that it numbed her hand. However, a handload with a 125 at 1250 was
fine, and she shot it well. Her Cobra load was a 148 hollow base loaded

Yeah, I did the laser thing, too. Put one on my Combat Commander, took
it off. It turned a decent-handling gun into a clumsy piece, and I never
did get a holster for that setup. The laser was next to invisible in the
daytime. I thought about digging the laser out of the drawer, and
putting it on a shotgun, but probably not. IMO, a tritium sight, even if
only on the front, is all you need. I haven't tried the tritium while
using a night vision scope, but I can tell you that the laser blooms out
the starlight scope, bad! Click it on something, even some distance
away, and you end up with a bright area on the scope that does not fade
for some time.
Night vision is a ball, if you live in the country! On a full moon
night, all you have to do it power up the scope every 15-20 minutes, and
it stays bright. It's fun to watch Deer at night. I thought about spying
on the Coyotes, but that might make them nervous.
Hmm. Just had a thought. How about carrying an extremely powerful light
in the car, to blind the potential robber/carjacker? Might give you time
to follow up with some other strategies.

Speaking of anti-carjacking devices, did any of you see 20/20 on Friday night? They had a
segment that talked about an actual flamethrower-like device that mounts under the edge of
the car on the driver's side, right under the door. You hot a button inside your car and
the hijacker gets toasted. They had mannequins set up to demonstrate the device, and it
fried them totally. Of course, the hijacker is supposed to run like hell, not just stand
there and get burned alive. But it was very effective, and the last word on the feature
said "Don't expect this device to become legal to use in the United States".

Sure got the point across though.

For people that can't carry a gun. When the carjacker is least suspecting
it, slam open your door and surprise em. This would only work if they are
close enough, of course. Then, if you carry a 4 to 5 "D-Cell" maglight like
I do, (they make a great bludgeon) club the jacker like a baby harp seal.
You could always have some sort of kill switch hidden, but in reach, that
disables the electricity.

Oh, too bad! But why did you choose trijicon tritium inserts on your
dream gun? Sounds like an odd choice... also, I wouldn't use the
Videki trigger, for obvious reasons, but I guess it's your dream gun, so
you can choose to add whatever you want! Have you had good experiences

I live in south FL. I keep a little Davis .380 on my right between the seat and the center console behind
the seat belt, near my wallet. The gun is cheap ($80) and has no long range (above ten feet) accuracy.
I figure if it gets stolen or confiscated, no big loss (better than losing my Ruger .357). Its easily
concealable, and holds a whopping six rounds. The guy who sold it to me of course insisted I should get
something larger and more expensive, but I told him that at point blank, a carjacker taking six shots,
would fall down at least once. He had no reply to that. On a last note, the police dont have to know a
gun you used was concealed, they obviously were not around if you had to use it.

Safe driving and happy hunting!

I have had excellent service from the hard woven nylon Small of the
Back (SOBs) from Uncle Mikes. Just clip the belt clip over the metal
frame rail that surrounds the bottom of seat and away you go. My wife
carries a Ruger SP-101 there and I carry a Para-Ordnance P-12 . Good
location, easy to get to and almost out of sight. If worried, about
the gun getting stollen when parked, throw it under the seat or stick
it in you jacket.

That Ruger has saved my wife's life once.
Praise Be, I have never had to draw a gun on anyone. Hope it stays
that way.
So if you have any PC statements, put them on a card and stick the
card in the mail to the big cheese and his wife. They feal your pain

And no one has mentioned a Glock? I use the compact frame 40s&w-- compact,
easy to use, proven, black and plastic, like my vette.

Although, the earlier mentioned Norinco 1911 45 is a great weapon. Although no
Colt, Its cheap and has major firepower. A good mix of "shot gun" loads, then
talons for the final answer.

Pepper spray is good, so is a a length of heavy wire, chain, large wrench or
plain pipe should be kept handy. Cheap, disposable and lethal.

I would recommend a revolver, either a .38spl or 44spl.
The reasoning is simple...firing from a car means that you may be in an
uncomfortable position. A revolver will not jam from limpwristing, will not
eject brass that can bounce into your face and can be used equally well with
either hand. I'd go with slow+heavy rounds as the report would damage your
hearing less and the round would likely be more effective than a fast+light
one...in a short barrel.

This is very good advice. I love my semi-autos (Beretta 98 and Taurus 92)
and I will keep using them. To all of those using semi-autos please buy GOOD
ammo, cheap ammos will jam (CCI Blazers are really bad). I like Speer Lawman
(police use). It may sound funny but a Lady Wesson would make a good choice
for a small Revolver. I would much rather have a Taurus Raging Bull 44 mag

http://www.taurususa.com/446pix/2guns.gif

... That's a revolver..

If you are really pissed try a Desert Eagle .50.... that will stop the
carjacker.

Ammos ARE VERY IMPORTANT on semi-autos especially when your life is on the
line.

Please let me take some insurance out on you first before you do this.  Is your car worth more than your life?  Anybody who wants to carjack you isn't going to stand there and let you reach for a revolver.  The best thing to do is get a satellite navigational alarm set up that you can REMOTELY activate if the car is stolen.  Teltrack and LoJack come to mind and there are others as well.  Expect to spend about $500-$1000 plus monthly maintenance.  But hey, it's your car and your life...don't let me influence your decision to play Dirty Harry.

This comment comes in amoment in which you can really tell how much I love my cars. My wife just *(&&*^d up my Audi, just the way I looked at her made her go directly to her bedroom and cried... she is still doing that.

A few months ago she dropped something on the hood of my Vette and made a very tiny scratch...  my neghibor was there and after this happened he just ran away before my wife told me. in the office it's considered a disgrace to park next to me....

I will not let anyone take my Vette.

I just walked upstairs to hug my wife....

But I still love my cars. When the car wash guy was drying my car and he dropped the towel then picked it up and tried to continue drying I coursed across the detailing shop..... boy I got his attention. Not to mention when I walk out of the mall and find someone acting funny near my car....

We're going to have to disagree on the order. To me, wife is first.
That's what the marriage vows mean to me. I place her before all others,
and put away those things of my childhood, not in a locked cabinet, but
further down on the list. Next, my son. My parents are both dead, but
they lived long lives. As for possessions, they come tied for last with
the money. I can always make more money, and buy more things. I would
give you my shirt, if you needed it right then, regardless of how much
money each of us have, for true need must be addressed NOW; tomorrow may
be too late. These are my beliefs. Do not take this as criticism of your
beliefs. I am merely showing you a different way.

I actually think that we said pretty much the same thing.

My reserve about the wife in 3rd position is that.... My mom and dad are
always the people that raised me and took good care of me, if something goes
wrong I always have a shoulder there.

My son is my own blood, my pride and joy and no matter what happens he will
always be my son.

My wife.... well, I am happy you have such a great marriage.... But it
doesn't always work that way. The day "a wife" decides to leave for someone
else and takes everything including your underwears you move her very low on
the list... I really love my wife but....

People in need actually do come before my cars... thinking about it. I too

In a moment of pure madness I can really flip if a car/boat is violated but
when I get rational again I say what the heck.... they can fix it.

I had a Taurus 92 for a long time. Nickel with wood grips. I just could
not shoot that thing right so I sold it. Good gun as far as feeding but it
just kept slipping around in my hand a bit so my groups sucked. I think
maybe my hands were just not designed to fit well on the Beretta style
frame. If you're interested you can see my current collection here,

That was one very true statment, I can handle a Beretta 92/98 Taurus PT92/99
frame very well but I vave a problem with the Sig229. It must really be the
hand design...

I got the Taurus as a Xmas gift to myself (with the BMW). You have a quite
sizeable collection and one real pearl the AR15... I am looking right now at
a Bushmaster... but the pre-ban I like runs pretty expensive...

I have a Winchester 1300 stainless in the office (love it!!!) and I use a
Ruger 10/22 International at the range a lot... My wife got from her uncle a
Norinco. The other toy I am looking for and I am going crazy is the Ruger
PC9 carabine.... it's really sweet! It's sold out everywhere. I don't find
CorBon that great, I use only Sellier and Bellot at the range and Speer
Lawman as daily load. 9 mm. 115 gr.

For unwanted guests home I use the Winchester 1300 with SuperX deer slugs...
they work good at the 1st shot.

How much did you unload for the AR15 there?

Have a nice 1999!

I need a good shot gun. Great home defense piece, especially with children
around because shot will usually stop in the wall. Maybe a folding stock
stainless pump.

Norincos can be super cool if you let a smith go at 'em. They need some
fine tuning and polishing but I have seen some really nice match pistols
made from them. (I take it you meant the Norinco 1911, they make many
others too. Hard to get since the Chinese import ban and prices aren't
nearly as good as what they used to be.)

I bought the AR15 about six months after the slime bill so prices weren't
outrageous for such features as flash guard, folding stock, and front grip.
I got it for $1200 at a great local gun shop that sells weapons for about
80% of what all other shops around here do. Gun Town in Lynnwood
Washington. With the Red Dot scope zeroed properly (it drifts something
fierce but they all do.) I can shoot a quarter at 50 yards even with the
short barrel. I keep this next to my bed along with one of my auto pistols
but I really think I would go for the Sig if I heard an intruder because it,
and the Glock, are the only weapons I trust 110% neither has ever jammed on
me and I shoot the piss out of them. Also, something about a long gun in a
confined battle environment really irks me. I can just see somebody
grabbing the barrel as I round a corner and then I'm screwed. Every expert
you talk to will say to grab the AR15 but I am just not comfortable with it
like a pistol. (Unless I'm outdoors and have some space.) Every year I go
to a great defense school here in Washington called InSights Training Center
( http://www.insightstraining.com/ ) Great school, I learn more every time
I go.

Sorry to ramble.

I use the shootgun for home security (same reason) but have the Beretta in
the pocket as well. I only had to get up in the middle of the night a few
times and shot 5 rounds (12 g deer slugs) 1 in the air.... The moron decided
to try attacking me even after he heard the pump action.... He had a
knife... he got the message and dropped everything .... he waited for the
police quietly while 3 feet away from the barrel. 2 shots in the wall and 1
in a car. 1 in the leg. That was a group of guys attemting to steal my car
last year... i moved after. I am very happy with the Winchester 1300, they
are not too expensive and I get to use it for deer hunting. SuperX is my
load of choice there.

this is a funny post in light of an incident some 30 years ago or so....I got
finished with shooting out in the country, and had a .44 mag. got to talking
with my still current friend in my car, We were talking guns and accuracyand
triggers and shit, I idely pulled out that .44 8-3/8 .44 and emptied the
rounds, all except one....and put the cylinder hometo dry fire it, aiming more
or less at the tranny tunnel...

Friend Larry , with a MOST POINTED edge to his voice, intoned....'Don't pull
that trigger'.......Yup one up and ready in sequence.....

It would have been a VERY VERY LONG HIKE through

HELL, being blamed for every step of the way.....much less buying a new
car......

Happy New Year everyone.....keep shiney sides up, the alternatives are rather
unpleasant....

Oh, shit, I'm not even married!(g) Have been, twice. They're both good
people. My first ex-wife was with my Mother when Mom had her
next-to-final heart attack. Was going to possibly be my dog obedience
instructor, too, but I think she ran into a time conflict. When I called
my second ex-wife yesterday, I said, "Hi, radical femlibber!" We agree
and also disagree on many things, but she's probably my best friend.
Mensa-qualified (she let her membership lapse), she can point out my
bullshit to me, even when I miss it.(g) I love them both dearly,
wouldn't want to live with either.

Yeah, I know. I have an awful temper, even at my age, but it's starting
to trigger less frequently. I had a hell of a day, yesterday. I had
ordered a set of Dunlop Sport 8000s from a Sears store, and they came in
early. So, I yanked the wheels off the Vette, and went down. I had a
little itinerary planned, but that went to hell when the damn truck
wouldn't start, right there at Sears! I had to do something, couldn't
limp home and deal with it later, since I had Coco, my senior dog, with
me. So, I had them install a battery. Poor Fred, the young man in sales,
was surprised to see the dog, and even more surprised when I stuffed my
old Combat Commander .45 in the waistband of the workout pants I was
wearing.(g) He recovered OK, though, and soon I was on my way, with
tires and so forth. Stopped at the Cell 1 store to find out why the
display on my new digital Nokia looked odd, and the tech showed me where
it had gotten moisture on the circuit board. He kept asking me if I had
the insurance. Pissed me off. I carried my old Nokia 232 around in the
same jacket pocket for nearly three years, never a problem. I'm getting
suspicious. First thing he asked me is if I had dropped it. Anyway,
we'll see if it shows up on my next bill.
So, I get home, and decide to throw the tires on. They *just* clear the
emergency brake cable bracket on the trailing arms, and I have to do
something with one balance weight, which is *exactly* where one of the
trim ring clips is! That's minor; it's a .5 oz. weight. I'll get two .25
oz. weights, space them on either side of the clip, and balance will be
OK. By that time, I was well past the "Fuck it!" stage, so I went in,
fed me and dogs, and watched a movie. I mean, some days, you just can't
win!(g)

great guy, really willing to prove himself.... The place we went saw us
pulling in in the $100K BMW, I was wearing a dressy casual attire, he was in
jeans and leather jacket. We sit down and I take the jacket off, the waiter
sees my "miami vice style" holster etc. with the Taurus SS in it. He freakes
right away but gets pretty quick taking the order. When we left you could
read on everybody's expression.... "Bastard drug dealers...." but ^#^%k
them.

Then we had the Audi problem.... This morning my dad called at 7:00 am toi
ask about sending a head gasket for the Vector... and I told him to get a
Lambo Diablo head gasket.... then it was time for the son getting up and
yelling.... then I just went to the office.... But I am leaving in a few
minutes.

And let's see..... we have an invitation to the "Amy Vanderbilt" relatives
from my mother's side. (the ones that follow the etiquette book to the t and
tell my parents all I do/say wrong).

Great day!

consider a semi-auto Remington 11-87, something like the special purpose
guns. 21" barrel, low reflectivity finish, and a buttstock. The butt is
an advantage. You clamp the butt between your arm and your ribs. Keep
the gun pointed down, not straight out in front of you so some bad guy
can lever it out of your hands. If he grabs for it, shoot for the feet.
Damn few good one-legged fighters. The 1100 - 11-87 style guns are all
gas operated, so a loose hold on the gun does not impair function as
much, and grabbing the barrel will not prevent the gun from cycling the
next round. For in-home use, consider using the mildest small shot load
that will reliably cycle the gun. Caveat: at close range, ANY load will
go through a wall, so keep focused on your environment. A tritium front
sight is an aid for shooting under low light conditions, but I blacken
the front so that it does not show up at tha front, only at the back.(g)
The autos have less recoil, and can be operated with one hand, if
necessary, provided they have the buttstock so that you can hold the
damn thing up.

It isn't the gun, it's you.(g) What is happening is that your brain is
trying to switch your master eye to the other side. I can use a red dot,

Charles, people my age ALWAYS resent people your age! It's partly
because you are your age, and I sorta wish I still was.(g) And, no
matter how you got your money, you have more of it than they do, and
they further resent that! I mean, look at you: you're 25, so you must

Think about this... The window sills on a vette are so high, you would
almost have to put the gun in the guy's face. I would favor a gun with good
penetration capability to shoot through the door -- two reasons 1. you dont
want the bag guy to see it, and 2. replacing the door is much less of a
bother than being shot over a car. Hollow points should be avoided because
of the velocity loss when the door is penetrated. The noise of the gun in a
car is literally deafening. Be prepared to shoot and continue to shoot at
least a few rounds as fast as possible, watch out where your rounds may go.
Hit an innocent bystander and your ass is grass. Accuracy is not important
unless you intend to shoot the crook in the back as he is running away.

If you feel that there is the threat of being cracked, you had better have
the gun out before the crook gets to the car! Otherwise, let him have the
car, this supposes that you are by yourself.

I would do anything I could, but I would not put family members in harms way
because of a car.

So Charles are you saying that the state you live in allows you to flash
your handgun? I have a CCW permit here in Oregon but that is just what it
means, concealed carry weapon. If I started flashing it in restaurants I
am pretty sure that I would lose my permit. I am not writing this
to debate whether we need permits or not only that whether we do or
don't it is not real intelligent to flash your weapon in public.

I normally stay out of what you say BUT....

A car is a car.

My wife/family/friends are FAR more important than ANY materialistic item.
They are all replaceable, people are not.

I let my 22 year old nephew take my new (under 1000 miles) drop top C5 down
to SOBE for the weekend a few weeks ago. I didn't care one ioda about the
car. All I cared about was him returning home safely.

So what, you wife smashed the car, would you rather have a perfect car and
loose her the mother of your child. Ask that yourself that ?.

Please let me take some insurance out on you first before you do this.
Is your car worth more than your life? Anybody who wants to carjack you
isn't going to stand there and let you reach for a revolver. The best thing
to do is get a satellite navigational alarm set up that you can REMOTELY
activate if the car is stolen. Teltrack and LoJack come to mind and there
are others as well. Expect to spend about $500-$1000 plus monthly
maintenance. But hey, it's your car and your life...don't let me influence
your decision to play Dirty Harry.

This comment comes in amoment in which you can really tell how much I
love my cars. My wife just *(&&*^d up my Audi, just the way I looked at her
made her go directly to her bedroom and cried... she is still doing that.

A few months ago she dropped something on the hood of my Vette and made
a very tiny scratch... my neghibor was there and after this happened he
just ran away before my wife told me. in the office it's considered a
disgrace to park next to me....

I will not let anyone take my Vette.

I just walked upstairs to hug my wife....

But I still love my cars. When the car wash guy was drying my car and he

dropped the towel then picked it up and tried to continue drying I coursed
across the detailing shop..... boy I got his attention. Not to mention when
I walk out of the mall and find someone acting funny near my car....

A m-60 or a good dual 50 cal on a swivel mount will take care of all your
needs. I suggest mounting it on the portion above the windshield. A
universal joint should give better aiming capabilities. Also do not forget
to load a tracer every 5 th round.

buy cars such as the Audi S8 or the BMW 750, I alway try to drive the
BIGGEST and safest car. Even when I rent I only take the Crown Vic or trhe
Town car. Trust me ....if my wife has an accident the main concern is her.
If the other guy is wrong and my wife is hurt he better die before I get
him...

It may sound like my cars are everything but think about this.... my C5 is
at my mother in law, I was there for 2 days now (got back 15 minutes ago)
and I was pissed to see that in 1 week he drove 140 miles when I asked him
to take the car for a 10 minutes ride once a week. You know what he did? He
went shopping at the mall with my C5, he took a chick out in it (on the
Snow!!!!).... now if he damaged the car I would be very upset as he
displayed ignorance and reckless behavior. If he crashes the car and he
makes it I will kick his butt.

BTW Rog NY if you see my Vette around on the road there please e-mail me!

Driving upstate NY (1 1/2 hour on the snow) with a light snow and ice
allowed me to show my wife why I "buy those huge bulky cars...". At times I
wonder what possesed me when I bought the C5 (my wife was 5-6 months
pregnant...)
