I just installed a set of LED Tail Lights into my C5 from a company called
Jamstrait (www.jamstrait.com). Now I am impressed by how well they work, and
they clearly come on visibly faster than the regular lamps, the only problem
I have is due to the lower current draw of the LEDs, the blinkers flash much
faster than they normally would, everything still works correctly, just
about 2x normal speed, anybody have any ideas ?

In article <FDCL8.198125$Q42.8...@typhoon.austin.rr.com>,
corv...@austin.rr.com says...

For best operation of LED's, you need to change the turn signal
flasher out to a variable load type. You can get them at better auto
parts stores or from the manufacturer of the LED taillight bulbs

Or he can just check with the place where he bought the LEDS as they offer
the needed part in their product list:

OK, so I need a variable load flasher unit, so I go looking for the current
unit and as best as I can tell, it is behind the emergency flasher switch to
the left of the center air vent. It looks like an absolute pain to get at,
am I looking at the right relay ?
