I have a '69 with a 427/435 equipped with a Holley 850. I installed a
3/4" heat insulating spacer between the carburetor and the intake
manifold. Now I have only about 2" clearance between the top of the
carburetor and the hood. Any suggestions for an air cleaner?

How about a K&N with a filter lid. Your going to run out of air with
only 2" of aircleaner. Try raising the hood, put a hi-rise hood on. CU
